OPTIMAL IP-XDSL FACILITY ASSIGNMENT METHOD BASED ON UPDATING SNR MARGIN AND MEDIA TEHEROF

A method for optimizing selection of an IP facility by setting an SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) margin for each equipment, and its recording medium are provided to maximize utilization ability of an existing equipment by setting an optimal equipment based on established setting information and an estimated optimum speed of each equipment. When selection of an IP facility is requested for a particular client, an IP facility selecting unit searches an address of the client and a service name from a subscriber DB(S20), converts the searched address into a standard address for searching an IP facility(S22), and consults with an equipment information DB to search an IP facility that corresponds to the address and is able of provide the service(S24). The IP facility selecting unit consults with a canceled subscriber DB to check whether there is speed history information of the searched IP facility(S26). When there is speed history information of the searched IP facility in the canceled subscriber DB, the IP facility selecting unit selects the IP facility with respect to the client with reference to the corresponding speed history information(S28).
