ANTENNA ASSEMBLY FOR PORTABLE TERMINAL

An antenna assembly of a portable terminal is provided to be installed to appear and disappear on a housing of the portable terminal, thus a user can carry the antenna assembly while the assembly is in inserted state, thereby contributing to design of the terminal and improvement of portability of the terminal. An antenna housing is combined with a terminal to appear and disappear. A cam member includes at least one of stopping grooves, and does straight reciprocal motion on the terminal in connection with the antenna housing. A stopping member(105) links with the cam member by being coupled therewith on the terminal. An elastic member(137) provides elastic power in a direction for protruding the antenna housing to the outside of the terminal. When the antenna housing is in inserted state within the terminal, the stopping member(105) is engaged with the stopping grooves to restrict the antenna housing within the terminal.
