A manhole structure having a seal ring protection function is provided to maintain optimum elastic force against the load of a manhole cover or impact load by installing a seal ring between a manhole support and a manhole cover. A manhole structure having a seal ring protection function comprises a manhole support(100) and a manhole cover(200), wherein a first horizontal support projection(120) and a second horizontal support projection(140) are formed on the inner circumferential surface of the manhole support in a stepwise manner to make the bottom of the border of the manhole cover located on the top of the second horizontal support projection and a hanging projection(220) formed on the outer border of the manhole cover located on the top of the first horizontal support projection, a groove(300) is formed along the bottom of the hanging projection and fitted with a seal ring(400), and a gap(500) is formed between the top of the first horizontal support projection and the bottom of the hanging projection and a seal ring is located in the gap so that the load of the manhole cover is not transferred to the sealing ring. |
