<p>The method involves determining two acceleration values by using two acceleration sensors (9, 10), where directions of action (13, 14) of the acceleration sensors are arranged in an angle of 90 degrees to each other. A third acceleration value of a motor vehicle is determined. An elevation angle error (18) of an ambient environment sensor (2) e.g. Lidar sensor, is determined in consideration with arithmetic operations by using two acceleration values. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining an elevation angle error.</p> |
