An apparatus for washing and sterilizing green vegetables is provided to remove contaminants or agrichemicals from green vegetable automatically through a preliminary washing process, a sterilization process, and a main washing process. An apparatus for washing and sterilizing green vegetables comprises: a porous basket(1) for receiving a fixed amount of green vegetables; a loading part(10) for carrying the basket; an unloading part(20) for discharging the basket; a preliminary washing tank(30) for performing a preliminary washing process; a sterilizing tank(40) for performing a sterilization process through electrolyzed oxidizing water; a main washing tank(50) for performing a main washing process; and a transfer device(60) for transferring the basket supplied from the loading part to the unloading part through the preliminary washing tank, sterilizing tank, and main washing tank.
