An adjustable folding stand for supporting a clarinet while it is being played is stabilised by means of a pivotable horizontal stabiliser 4 placed under the left foot of the user. The bell of the clarinet is supported either internally by means of a hook member 5a which penetrates into the bell or externally by an element 5b which cradles the bell. When folded, the stand measures 45 cm in length and 12 cm in circumference. Its use allows pupils of the clarinet to concentrate on developing necessary techniques, such as embouchure, posture and right-hand position. |
