A wall-mounted type air conditioner is provided to fix a rotational direction of vertical blades at a position wanted by a user, improve the outward appearance, and minimize wind direction interference of discharged air by the vertical blades. A wall-mounted type air conditioner includes a main body having a heat exchanger inside and a discharge port, a stabilizer(20) installed at the discharge port, and vertical blades(40) combined with the stabilizer for controlling a ventilation direction. The stabilizer has a plurality of engaging grooves(22) formed at predetermined gaps to rotate the vertical blades at predetermined angles. The vertical blade has position fixing protrusions(55) inserted into the engaging grooves to fix positions of the vertical blades. The vertical blade has a combination part(50) for combination with the stabilizer. The combination part includes a fixing part(54) contacting with one side of the stabilizer, an engaging part(51) contacting with the other side of the stabilizer, and a rotary shaft inserted into one side of the stabilizer.
