NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE FOR SECONDARY BATTERY

A non-aqueous electrolyte for a secondary battery is provided to impart significantly improved charge/discharge characteristics and lifespan characteristics to a secondary battery including a lithium ion battery, aluminum laminated battery or lithium polymer battery. A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium battery including a lithium ion secondary battery, aluminum laminated battery or lithium polymer battery comprises a compound represented by the following formula 1 as an additive for an electrolyte. In formula 1, each of R1-R5 independently represents H, a halogen atom, C1-C5 alkyl group, allyl group or alkoxy group; and n is an integer of 2-10. The compound represented by formula 1 is used in an amount of 0.1-10 wt% based on the total non-aqueous electrolyte composition.
