An electric heating apparatus is provided to improve energy efficiency by permitting a heating unit to have a reflection plate and an air layer to prevent leakage of heat and transfer heat to a heat medium. An electric heating apparatus includes a heating unit(100), a tube type heat exchanger(200), a coil type heat exchanger(300), a first heat exchange unit(400), and a second heat exchange unit(600). The heating unit includes a vessel(110) for containing a thermal medium, and a heater(120) arranged in the vessel to heat the heat medium. The tube type heat exchanger has a plurality of tubes(210) for passage of heat medium heated and evaporated by the heater. The tube type heat exchanger is disposed on the heating unit. The coil type heat exchanger is connected to an upper portion of the tube type heat exchanger, and introduced with a heat medium having a boiling point higher than that of the heat medium passed through the tube type heat exchanger. The first heat exchange unit is arranged to surround the coil type heat exchanger, and has one side with an inlet port(410) for introduction of cold water to be heat-exchanged with the coil type heat exchanger. The second heat exchange unit is arranged to surround the tube type heat exchanger, and has an outlet port(620) for discharging water passed through the first heat exchange unit and heat-exchanged with the tube type heat exchanger. |
