A method and an apparatus for sterilizing and washing laundry are provided to wash various pollution materials effectively, to sterilize harmful germs that cause various diseases completely and to maintain an antibacterial function for a long time. An apparatus for sterilizing and washing laundry includes a laundry transfer device(110), plural spray nozzle devices, plural ozone lamp devices, a vacuum suction device and a fan. The spray nozzle devices are arranged on the installation path of the laundry transfer device and spray compressed air to the laundry to remove foreign materials. The ozone lamp devices are arranged on the installation path of the laundry transfer device to emit ozone and ultraviolet rays to the laundry. The vacuum suction device installed on the installation path of the laundry transfer device vacuum sucks the foreign materials. |
