<p>The present invention relates to an arrangement for fixing a castor attachment unit to the frame of a wheelchair. The purpose of the arrangement is to adjust an angle between the castor attachment unit and the frame, so that the swivel axel of the castor of the wheelchair is situated in a perpendicular position with respect to the ground. The arrangement comprises a eccentric with a plurality of grooves on the periphery of the eccentric's head, which are designed to fit to a pin permanently situated on the frame. The advantage of the groove-to-pin system is that the eccentric may be detachably fixed at a selected angle without the risk of a change of the angle upon prolonged use of the wheelchair.</p> |
