An apparatus and a method for inspecting an LCD are provided to reduce a time for robot transfer by outputting a first discharge signal to a robot when glass is lifted up after completion of the glass inspection, moving the robot in front of an inspection device output the first discharge signal, and allowing the robot to receive a second discharge signal from the inspection device and unload the glass. A cassette(100) receives a plurality of glasses. A robot(200) loads or unloads the glass received in the cassette. A plurality of inspection devices inspect the glass loaded through the robot, output a first discharge signal to the robot when lifting-up the glass after the inspection is completed, and output a second discharge signal when the robot arrives. |
