An LCD including a thin film diode device and a fabrication method thereof are provided to enlarge a viewing angle of the LCD by employing the thin film diode device as a switching device. A first electrode(140) is formed in a pixel area of a first substrate. A first thin film diode device(TFD1) and a second thin film diode device(TFD2) are connected with each other through the first electrode. A first scan signal line(110) and a second scan signal line(120) are connected to the first thin film diode device and the second thin film diode device, respectively. A data signal line(130) intersects the first and second scan signal lines. A second electrode(150) is electrically connected with the data signal line, is placed on the first electrode, and includes a plurality of apertures. The second electrode overlaps the data signal line. |
