Soy sauce containing Molokhia and a preparation method thereof are provided to supply various functional ingredients of Molokhia to soy sauce by adding Molokhia extract to soy sauce. Soy sauce containing Molokhia is prepared by the steps of: (a) dispersing Molokhia powder in ethanol to obtain Molokhia extract; (b) mixing steamed soybeans and wheat flour in a weight ratio of 1~9:9~1, stirring the mixture into refined water, adding 0.1~0.5% of Aspergillus oryzae as seed malt to it, and pouring a saline solution to ferment malt; and (c) adding 4~6wt% of the Molokhia extract to the fermented malt, fermenting and aging it at room temperature for 6~8 months, and then sterilizing it to obtain soy sauce containing Molokhia.
