A backlight unit using LED(Light Emitting Unit) is provided to implement a simple driving circuit by driving LEDs using one driving circuit per color and reduce a size of a driving board, thereby reducing the number of parts, simply designing the driving unit, reducing whole size of a product. A backlight unit using LED(Light Emitting Unit) comprises the following parts: a plurality of LED modules(210) including a plurality of red LEDs which are electrically connected each other, a plurality of green LEDs which are electrically connected each other, and a plurality of blue LEDs which are electrically connected each other; and a LED driving unit(220) including a red LED driving circuit(221) for commonly driving a plurality of red LEDs, a green LED(222) driving circuit for commonly driving a plurality of green LEDs, and a blue LED(223) driving circuit for commonly driving a plurality of blue LEDs. |
