The train (1) has a coupling device (3) for coupling a drive shaft (5) with a transmission shaft (7). The coupling device exhibits a recess (13) for carrying out of cool air, where supply air flow (15) and an exhaust air flow (19) are guided through the recess. The supply air flow and the exhaust air flow are adjacent to one another at a turbulent boundary layer. An air guiding unit (23) is arranged adjacent to the recess and circumferential surface of the coupling device. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a coupling device of a motor vehicle drive train.
