ZIGBEE DEVICE USING NEIGHBOR TABLE AND METHOD FOR DATA TRANSMISSION

A ZigBee device using a neighbor table and a data transmission method using the same are provided to shorten the time for data transmission and prevent an unnecessary consumption of power by establishing a ZigBee network using a neighbor table having the address information of devices, which exist within a power range for ZigBee communication, and transmitting data through the optimum route using the neighbor table. A ZigBee device(10) using a neighbor table comprises a memory(11), a control part(12), and a transceiver part(13). The memory(11) stores a neighbor table. The control part(12) acquires the address information of devices which exist within a power range for ZigBee communication, creates a neighbor table, establishes a network using the neighbor table, appoints one of the device as a parent device, and connects the parent device to the network. The control part(12) broadcasts address information, allocated through the establishment of the network, to the devices. If data to be transmitted exist, the control part(12) confirms whether the address information of a destination device exists in the neighbor table. If so, the control part transmits the data to the associated device. In case that the address information of a destination device doesn't exist, the control part(12) transmits the data to a device which meets preset judgement conditions. The transceiver part(13) executes ZigBee communication according to the control of the control part(12).
