Units, each comprising a coiled spring and a flexible housing extending over the spring, are arranged adjacent one another with their longitudinal axes substantially parallel. The end faces of adjacent units combine to form a substantially continuous curvilinear surface. The units may be obtained from the pocket springs of a new or used mattress. The units may be attached to one another using rings. The units may form indoor sculptures, lighting designs, space dividers, window covers, screens, or wall and ceiling coverings. |
