METHOD FOR TUNING EMPIRICAL PROPAGATION MODEL BASED ON 3D RAY TRACING

A method for correcting an experimental propagation model using three-dimensional ray tracing is provided to consistently analyze an entire region in a radio network designing system, reduce costs in establishing a network by precisely interpreting propagation and to improve the reliability of an experimental propagation model. A propagation path loss of an area corresponding to the interior of a radius centering around a base station is calculated by using three-dimensional ray tracing(31). A path loss correction value is extracted along the circumference of the radius(32). An experimental propagation model is corrected by using the extracted path loss correction value(33).
