The system is for the support and guide of suspension components, such as wall panels (2,2') or similar, and comprises a horizontal carrying rail (1) on which a trolley (3) can be mounted, with at least one first and one second wheels rotatable around a vertical shaft. The carrying rail is provided with a first running surface which extends in the longitudinal direction of the rail on one edge of the vertical shaft and a second such running surface on the other edge of the vertical shaft for the support of a side edge of the first and second wheels. The carrying rail is provided with at least one guide back above the first running surface and above the side edge of the supported first wheel, so that the wheel on coming loose from the running surface reaches teh guide back.
