A universally and highly configurable video and graphic measurement device is provided to increase contrast of a level of luminance generated in an important region of an image. A method for processing video signals comprises the following steps of: receiving the video signal(202); analyzing the video signals based on a set of commands supplied by a user(204); processing the video signals according to the analysis; and outputting the processed video signals(206,208,210). The processing step is configured to perform ACC(Adaptive Contrast Control) automatically if there is a request by the analysis. |
