TIRE AND TIRE TREAD WITH SIPES OF DEFINED CURVATURE

A tire is provided to maintain the flexibility of a tread element during the life span of the tire. A tire comprises a tire tread having a tread surface(26) and a plurality of ground contact tread elements(10). At least one of the tread elements(10) has a sipe(12). The sipe(12) has two opposite end points(18), and a length and a depth(Ds) measured between the two opposite end points(18). The outer side of the sipe(12) has a structure defined by a continuous non-linear curvature. The curvature has at least one semi-diameter(R) having a value increasing from the tread surface(26) to a base(28) of the sipe(12). The base(28) of the sipe(12) has a structure defined by the semi-diameter(R) having an infinite value.
