A method of manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to embed a dummy pattern in a semi-transparent layer formed on a halftone mask to control the quantity of exposure so as to adjust the thickness of a photoresist film, thereby preventing a poor operation of an electrostatic discharging circuit and reducing static electricity. A first substrate is prepared. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) and an electrostatic discharging circuit are formed on the first substrate using a halftone mask having at least one dummy pattern(150) in a semi-transparent film formed thereon. A second substrate opposite to the first substrate is prepared. The first substrate and the second substrate are bonded to each other and a liquid crystal layer is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. |
