An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) capable of performing optical presentation on a screen is provided to form a photoelectron layer on a data line to display a point, a desired character or a desired character on the screen freely when presentation is performed using the LCD. An LCD(101) includes a plurality of gate lines(103), a plurality of data lines(104), a TFT(Thin Film Transistor), and a photoelectron layer(128). The gate lines and the data lines are arranged on a first substrate and define a plurality of pixels. The TFT is formed at each of the pixels, activated according to a scan signal inputted through a corresponding gate line and applies a data signal inputted through a corresponding data line to the pixel. The photoelectron layer is formed on the data line corresponding to each pixel and generates a current when light is irradiated thereto. |
