摘要 A power factor correction circuit using a snubber circuit is provided to simplify a configuration of the circuit by removing an active switching element from the snubber circuit. A converter unit(31) includes a first inductor, an output diode, an output capacitor, and a switching element. The first inductor is connected between a power input terminal and a load. The output diode is connected between the first inductor and the load. The output capacitor is parallel-coupled with the load. The converter unit converts an input voltage to a DC voltage. A snubber circuit unit(32) is connected to the converter unit and decreases an on/off loss of the switching element. The snubber circuit unit includes a first capacitor(Cs1), a second capacitor(Cs2), a first diode(Ds1), a second diode(Ds2), and a third diode(Ds3). One end of the first inductor is connected to one end of the first capacitor. One end of the second capacitor is grounded. An anode of the first diode is connected to the switching element, while a cathode thereof is connected to the other end of the first capacitor. An anode of the second diode is connected to the anode of the first diode, while a cathode thereof is connected to the other end of the second capacitor. An anode of the third diode is connected to a cathode of the second diode, while a cathode thereof is connected to the anode of the output diode.
