摘要 <p>The invention relates to an installation for determining the indices of resistance to a surface leakage current. According to the invention, the installation consists of a cylindrical housing (1) provided with a cavity (a), wherein there is stored a handled liquid (2), and a superimposed coaxial cavity (b) in which there is stored an active liquid (3) and which is provided with a microcavity (b'), in which there is immersed a resistor (4) supplied by two conductors (5 and 5'), embedded in a separating wall (6), so that the gaseous mixture obtained by Joule-Lenz effect, upon supplying the resistor, acts, through a microchannel (c), on the handled liquid which, through a microconduit (7) is discharged by dropping, between two platine electrodes (8), onto the surface of a specimen (9) made of electro-insulating material, said specimen being disposed on a support (10), the number of drops being established by an opto-coupling device comprising a light diode (11) and a phototransistor (12), coupled to an electronic counter (13). The installation can be employed for determining the indices of resistance to the leakage currents on the surface of solid electro-insulating materials.</p>
