The cushion has an envelope (1) containing a padding constituted of expanded polystyrene balls. The envelope is made in plastic material obtained from folded sheet, or two assembled sheets or a sleeve. The envelope is provided with microperforations (2), which permits to rigidify the cushion by evacuation of air during contact with a victim. A non woven textile case has a flap, which is closed by a bonding device ensuring sealing towards biological liquids e.g. blood.
