An image forming apparatus, an image processing method and a control program for executing the same are provided to supply a scheme for obtaining desired information by fetching data from a peripheral device and the image forming device if necessary. A scanning unit is configured to scan documents. A first generating unit is configured to generate data corresponding to the document scanned by the scanning unit. An obtaining unit(1010) is configured to obtain data of a peripheral device. A forming unit(1008) is configured to form display data for displaying data generated by the first generating unit and the data obtained by the obtaining unit from the peripheral device in association with each other. A transmitting unit(1009) is configured to transmit the display data, formed by the forming unit, to an external information processing device.
