The invention relates to ferrous industry, in particular, to equipment for processing, more definite, to installations for producing nickel and cobalt chloride using chloride sublimation roasting of oxidated nickel ores.The installation for processing oxidated nickel ores comprises a rotary furnace (1) with a device (2) for ore feeding and a device (3) for feeding fuel combustion products and hydrogen chloride arranged so as to provide counterflow feed of said product to the furnace (1) connected by gas flues with a gas cooling device (4) a dust removal device (5) and an absorber (6) connected technologically with a chamber (7) for mixing hydrochloric acid and calcium chloride solution produced in the absorber (6) and a rectifying column of salt stripping for producing hydrogen chloride connected by gas phase through a gas duct with the rotary furnace (1) via a device (3) for feeding fuel combustion products and hydrogen chloride and by liquid phase through a pipe with an evaporator (9) connected with the mixing chamber (7) by a pipeline, wherein the installation further comprises a furnace for sulphatization of nickel and cobalt chlorides connected by a transport means with the dust removal device (5) and connected by a gas flue to the rotary furnace via the device (3) for feeding fuel combustion products and hydrogen chloride. Besides, the installation comprise a furnace for sulphatization of alkaline metals chlorides for sulphatization connected by a gas flue to the rotary furnace via the device (3) for feeding fuel combustion products and hydrogen chloride.The invention solves the problem of designing highly-effective installation for processing oxidated nickel ores by a chloride sublimation roasting method permitting to reduce production cost due to full recovery of hydrogen chloride and providing a close loop for processing oxidated nickel ores with high efficiency of recovery of valuable components and improving environmental safety of the production process.
