A coupler for a streetlamp is provided to prevent the welded parts of an upper post and a lower post of a streetlamp from being exposed, to protect the joint of the upper and lower posts from external impact and to promote careful driving by drawing the attention of pedestrians and drivers using a reflection plate or an illuminator. A coupler for a streetlamp is formed by piling up plural housings(10a,10b,10c), plural cover rings(20a) and an auxiliary ring(40) vertically and fixing firmly using bolts and nuts. The housing comprises a large-diameter portion(14a,14b,14c), a small-diameter portion(16a,16b,16c), and an incline portion(15a), wherein the small-diameter portion includes a first support portion(12a,12c) provided with first through holes(11a,11b,11c) to insert an upper post and plural fixing holes(13a,13b,13c) to penetrate a bolt. The cover ring includes a second through hole(21a) at the center to insert the upper post, a second support portion(22a) provided with plural fixing holes(23a) at one side to adhere closely to the first support portion of the first housing and a first insertion hole(24a) at the other side to insert the small-diameter portions of the second and the third housings. The auxiliary ring includes a second insertion hole(41) at the center to insert the large-diameter portions of the housings and a mounting projection(42) at the inner center to mount the housing. In addition, a reflection plate or an illuminator with LED is attached to the small- and the large-diameter portions of the housings to draw the attention of pedestrians and drivers.
