<p>This structural assembly (12) is of the type intended to be fixed to a longitudinal end of a rail car body (2) comprising a chassis (4), a roof (6) and lateral faces (8, 10) forming a tubular cell, in order to articulate the body (2) to a body of another adjacent car and to transfer the load of the body (2) to a body support bogie that is common to that other car. In accordance with an aspect of the invention, it comprises a lower cross-member (16) having a central portion (34) and two lateral portions (36), the central portion being provided in order to carry a member (24) for articulating the body to a body of another car, and each lateral portion being suitable for being supported on suspension devices for the body on a bogie.</p> |
