<p>The invention relates to an aeration device operating with compressed air and destined to applications wherein there is necessary the handling of air flow rates with a view to diluting toxic, asphyxiating and/or explosive gases, for example in the mining industry, within the partial dead end aerating system. According to the invention, the device comprises an aerodynamic body (A) consisting of an attack cone (1), an upper part (2) provided with inclined surfaces arranged in steps (8, 9, 10), a central part (3) provided with some surfaces (11, 12) also in steps and a lower part (4) wherein there is mounted a connection (18) for the inlet of the compressed air, this being in communication with a tube (15), with some circular chambers (16, 17) with a buffer tank (14) and a circular channel (13) inside the device body, screwing in being performed so that between the attack cone (1) and the upper part there is formed an upper annular slot (6), and between the upper part (2) and the central part (3) there is formed a lower circular slot (7), the two slots (6, 7) being provided to allow the compressed air entered through the connection (18) to come out as two jets which change direction in contact with the external surfaces (8, 9, 10, 11, 12), the flow rate of which is adjustable by screwing in the component parts (1, 2, 3) of the device.</p> |
