MULTIPLE TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING ANTENNAS APPARATUS IN MULTI-USER MULTI-CELL ENVIRONMENTS AND METHOD THEREOF

A multiple transceiving antenna apparatus in multiuser multicell environments and a method thereof are provided to select a number of user groups and users in consideration of an interference signal from neighbor cells in allocating plural space-dimensional sub channels to the users, thereby improving the transmission rate of a radio communication system by using effectively the changeability and independency of a user-dimensional channel and the neighbor cell's interference signal. A multiple transceiving antenna apparatus includes a plurality of first units(200A-200K) with a predetermined antenna by each cell and a second unit(100) communicating with the first units. The second unit includes an estimating unit(12), a calculating unit(14), a determining unit(16) and a feedback unit(18). The estimating unit estimates channel response information for a signal from each of the first units and estimates the correlation matrix of an interference signal from noise and neighbor cells. The calculating unit calculates the sum of transmission rates every user association composed of at least one first unit by using information estimated in the estimating unit. The determining unit compares sums of transmission rates of each user association calculated in the calculating unit and determines a user association. The feedback unit feeds back information about the determined user association to the first unit of a corresponding cell.
