An experimental vessel is provided to enable an experimenter to observe cultivated materials at high magnification while putting a body containing the materials, on a microscope by forming a cover glass unit with good transmissivity. An experimental vessel is composed of: a body(110) having an inner containing space; a lid(101) for covering an inlet(111) of the body; and a cover glass unit(114) formed at a predetermined part of the bottom of the body in the same thickness of a cover glass used for a microscope, in order to observe cultivated materials while disposing the material in the inner containing space of the body and placing the body on the microscope. The cover glass unit is integrated with the body.
