APPARATUS OF PREVENTIVE BACK-LASH FOR BAIT REEL

A backlash preventing device of a bait reel capable of being controlled from the outside is provided to control braking of a spool flexibly according to the situations by precisely regulating braking power of the spool through several stages. A backlash preventing device(20) of a bait reel capable of being controlled from the outside is composed of a brakeshoe holder(22) combined to a shaft(14) of a spool(12); plural brakeshoes(24) radially fitted to the brakeshoe holder and moved outward according to the rotation of the spool to rub with a brake ring(30); a stopper(36) positioned at the side of the brakeshoe holder to restrict movement of the brakeshoes; and a stopper holder(38) combined to the stopper and elastically reciprocated in a horizontal direction according to a rotary motion of a dial(42) by tension power of a spring(34). Hanging units(24a) are vertically bent at each one end of the brakeshoes and hung to the inner peripheral surface of the stopper to restrict the movement of the brakeshoes. The hanging units are produced in different lengths and separated or restricted at the stopper in stages according to the movement of the stopper. The restricted brakeshoes and the stopper are rotated together when the spool turns.
