The method for supplying a fluid under pressure to an inlet of a treatment installation, comprises placing a fluid with a rotatory volumetric pump (2), slackening and recuperating the mechanical energy of a fluid outlet with a rotatory volumetric motor (9), and compensating a mechanical loss coupled to a driven shaft (8) of the volumetric pump. The volumetric pump is driven by the volumetric motor and a motor drive. A flow rate of the volumetric motor is lower than a flow rate of the volumetric pump. A compensation unit (13) is provided for the flow of entrance and outlet of the installation. The method for supplying a fluid under pressure to an inlet of a treatment installation, comprises placing a fluid with a rotatory volumetric pump (2), slackening and recuperating the mechanical energy of a fluid outlet with a rotatory volumetric motor (9), and compensating a mechanical loss coupled to a driven shaft (8) of the volumetric pump. The volumetric pump is driven by the volumetric motor and a motor drive. A flow rate of the volumetric motor is lower than a flow rate of the volumetric pump. A compensation unit (13) is provided for the flow of entrance and outlet of the treatment installation. The relation between the flow rate of the volumetric motor and the volumetric pump is equal to the relation between the flow rate of the fluid outlet and the treated fluid. The pump and the motor comprise a disengaged palette, a gear, a screw, a valve and quasi-turbines.
