<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sensor output from being generated as if angular velocity were generated even though angular velocity is not generated without needing a special component such as a vibration-proof member. <P>SOLUTION: An elongated structure 5 is composed by forming slits 4 on both sides of a vibrator 2 within a printed board 3; a primary resonance frequency of vibration of the elongated structure 5 is separated from a resonance frequency used for angular velocity detection in the vibrator 2 by adjusting the length of the slits 4, or by adjusting the thickness, width or Young's modulus of the elongated structure 5 to prevent them from coincide with each other. In addition, a high-order mode such as a second-order to fourth-order mode becomes a node of vibration, and influence on the angular velocity detection of the vibrator 2 can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
