<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activator of enteric bacteria, selectively increasing useful bacteria such as bifidobacterium and lactic bacterium, and inhibiting the increase of Bacteroides fragilis and Eubacterium aerofaciens of harmful bacteria. <P>SOLUTION: The activator of the enteric bacteria contains ≥70 mass% cellobiose and 0.1-30 mass% one or more kinds selected from cellotriose, cellotetraose, cellopentaose and cellohexaose, and has ≤2 mass% content of glucose. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
