<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell having a high energy converting efficiency with which its practical use is possible. <P>SOLUTION: In the photoelectrode of the dye-sensitized solar cell, a localized surface plasmon resonance is reinforced by interaction between metal fine particles regularly arranged by self-organization in colloidal solution and metal fine particles regularly arranged based on a lamination structure of semiconductor fine particles, and the absorption coefficient of a photosensitizer adsorbed on metal fine particles is improved.
