<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pickle paste mixed with lava powder, lava grains or volcanic ash to be free from smell of rice bran paste, and to provide pickle seasoning (pickling liquid) hard to decay. <P>SOLUTION: The pickle paste or the pickling seasoning in claim 1 is mixed with lava powder, lava grains or volcanic ash. The pickle paste of rice bran, bean curd lees or the like, and the pickle seasoning such as salt in claim 2 are mixed with lava powder, lava grains or volcanic ash. The pickle paste or the pickling seasoning in claim 3 contains at least either lactic acid bacterium or yeast fungus as useful microorganism.
