PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rubber composition for shielding electromagnetic wave which has achieved the reduction of a hardness thereof without deteriorating electromagnetic wave shielding property. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for shielding electromagnetic wave includes ethylene-α-olefin-non-conjugated polyene copolymer which shows the shear viscosity of lower than 10<SP>8</SP>(Pa sec) (40°C, strain 1%), and preferably Ketjenblack contained in EPDM. The electromagnetic wave shielding characteristic in a cured material produced by the composition is not lower than 10 dB in 1 GHz with respect to a rubber sheet whose hardness (Duro-A) is not more than 80 and whose thickness is 2 mm.
