PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to improve security properties of a money bar pay-out device, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The money bar pay-out device, having a money bar storage part 122 for storing the inventory of money bars, and a plurality of storage trays 10 which are housed in the money bar storage part 122 and in which a plurality of money bars are stored, in parallel, is provided with a mechanism for switching between a grippable state and a grip disabled state for the storage trays 10. The mechanism for switching between the grippable state and the grip disabled state is a mechanism comprising a handhold 31, which is a through-hole by which the front partition 11 of the storage tray 10 and a shutter part 30 can be gripped. The mechanism for switching between the grippable state and the grip disabled state makes the handhold 31 unusable, by closing it with the shutter part 30 by the force of the money bars fully stored in the storage tray 10, and makes the handhold 31 usable, when the storage tray 10 is not full as the shutter part 30 is tilted and leaves the handhold 31. According to this constitution, the storage tray 10 full of money bars goes into a state where it cannot be pulled out from the money bar storage part 122. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
