PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the danger of automatic unintentional rotation of a blade shaft of a mower deck in the case of lowering the shaft to the mowing ground. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a PTO switch 4 interlocked in a manner to disconnect a PTO clutch 3 for the transmission of a blade shaft 1 according to the lifting of a mower deck 2 having the blade shaft 1, restrict the interlocking to the coupling position of the PTO clutch 3 according to the lowering motion of the mower deck 2 and enabling manual operation of the PTO clutch 3 to the coupling position. The coupling action of the PTO clutch 3 is restricted even by lowering the mower deck 2 to keep the disconnected state and prevent the rotation of the blade shaft 1. When the PTO switch 4 is operated once more by a worker, the PTO clutch 3 is switched to the coupled position to rotate the blade shaft 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
