PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder capable of reducing occurrence of skew by floating up of a medium to be recorded without providing a feeding auxiliary roller. SOLUTION: A medium guide part (115) of the feeder 200 is provided with a first guide part 112 arranged in a main scanning direction and a second guide part 111. The first guide part 112 is provided at a side where a feeding roller 231 is one-sidedly arranged in the main scanning direction X, and the second guide part 111 (118) is provided at one side further separated from the feeding roller 231 in the main scanning direction X and is provided so as to guide the first medium (G) to a pair of conveying rollers 240 at the same position as the first guide part 112 in a sub-scanning direction Y, i.e., a position retreated below the first guide part 112.
