<p>Braking actuation unit has a brake booster (2), main braking cylinder in series with the brake booster, a detecting device for the driver delay requirement, and a pedal path simulator working with the brake pedal. An input member (10) of the brake booster has two parts (36,37) forming a hydraulic piston cylinder arrangement, whose hydraulic space (41) can be joined to a volume receiving element (42). The stroke of the first part (36), designed as a hydraulic piston (38), corresponds to the spacing serving to decouple the force transmission connection between the brake pedal and brake booster. An independent claim is included for a method for verifying the functioning of the actuating unit.</p> |
