<p>The arrangement has a parking installation (PU) with parking zones (Z1-Z9) and/or parking floors (E1-E3) that are attached to transmission units (ES1-ES3) and the parking zones for transmitting location information of a motor vehicle (F). A receiving unit is provided in the vehicle, via which the transmitted location information is detected when the vehicle passes the transmission units. The receiving unit is formed for storing the detected location information, and is connected with a memory unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting location information of a vehicle found in a parking installation.</p>
