<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a scoop (3) whose support edge (5) supports a seal (7). The edge and a fixing plate (4) have, on their two opposite sides, complementary fixing units to cooperate together through an air passage (2) to maintain together the scoop and the plate, in support against a wall (1) of a radiator tank, on both sides of the tank. The seal is plated in a watertight manner against the wall. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a radiator tank of a motor vehicle. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for protecting an air passage of a radiator tank of a motor vehicle (claimed) to prevent the water contained in the radiator from flowing through the passage. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The scoop is not fixed directly on the radiator tank and hence it is not necessary to weld the scoop in the tank. The scoop can be easily assembled, even when the inner space of the radiator tank is restricted. The position of the fixing units on the two opposite sides permits to obtain good adherence of the seal of the support edge against the radiator tank. The scoop and the fixing plate can be easily mounted and dismounted during the maintenance operation of the vehicle. The device does not require the formation of the fixing units directly on the radiator tank, thereby avoiding low manufacture tolerances for the tank.
