A packing ring is provided to be endowed with flexibility by integrally forming an outer ring having a resiliency with an inner ring that is hard. A packing ring includes an outer ring(20) and an inner ring(30). The outer ring has a ring shape. An insertion recess is formed on the inner side of the outer ring. The insertion groove is opened inward. The inner ring is ring-shaped so as to be inserted into the insertion groove of the outer ring. A cut-away portion formed by cutting a portion of the inner ring is formed in the inner ring. A reinforcing portion filling the cut-away portion of the inner ring is formed in the outer ring. A recess is formed outside the reinforcing portion so that a fluid can be easily drained downward. The inner ring is provided with a catching piece.
