PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job processor capable of eliminating such an inconvenience as a booked job with higher priority being lost due to deficiency in back-up power supply capacity, when a plurality of jobs are booked. SOLUTION: The job processor derives a predicted value of power consumption necessary for finishing the execution of the entire booked jobs which are not executed yet. When the residual amount of the back-up power supply 22 is deficient as compared with the predicted value of the power consumption, the execution order of the plurality of booked jobs is decided based on the attributes of the jobs, for example, the importance of the jobs, the processing amount of the jobs (the number of pages and the amount of data) or the like. When executing the booked jobs with the back-up power supply 22 during power failure, the booked jobs are executed according to the decided execution order, regardless of the appointed execution date and time when booked.
