PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce distortion using a division signal where only amplitude is different. SOLUTION: An input signal is weighted with a first weight k<SB>i</SB>(i=1 to 4) to obtain the division signal, and the same signal processing f(x) is performed on the division signal. Then, the signal-processed division signal is weighted with a second weight l<SB>1</SB>(i=1 to 4) , and division signals vout1 to vout4 weighted with the second weight are added. In the first weight, k<SB>1</SB>=t, k<SB>2</SB>=-t, k<SB>3</SB>=1 and k<SB>4</SB>=-1. In the second weight, l<SB>1</SB>=-1, l<SB>2</SB>=1, l<SB>3</SB>=t<SP>3</SP>and l<SB>4</SB>=-t<SP>3</SP>.
